Drucker Archives : Homepage
Drucker Archives | As a writer, teacher, and consultant for more than sixty years, Peter Drucker has created and articulated the concepts that have made management a field of legitimate academic inquiry and professional practice. Key to Professor Drucker’s vision of management is the belief that the most important asset of any organization is its people. The manager’s primary challenge, Professor Drucker believes, is to prepare and free people to perform. Professor Drucker’s interest in management extends beyond the scope of traditional business to include nonprofit organizations and entrepreneurial enterprises. Indeed, the influence of his thinking is so pervasive that he is fairly called the “father of management”.
The Drucker Archive contains the life works of this extraordinary thinker and “social ecologist”. This body of work will serve students, managers, scholars, and researchers for generations to come as the works and thoughts of Peter Drucker continue to ripple through our intellectual community.
